Summary

Unlike most men of his acquaintance, Gregory Bridgerton is a firm believer in true love. He'd have to be an idiot not to be: all seven of his siblings are happily married. Gregory figures he is just biding his time until the right woman comes along. And so when he sees Hermione Watson, he knows with every fibre of his being that she is meant to be his.
But through Hermione's closest - and slightly less beautiful - friend, Lucy Abernathy, he finds out that Hermione is desperately in love with another man. Another great listen.
Great story - had to continue to the finish. Narrator excellent as ever. Memorable moments: Gregory at the church, then him sweeping Lucy, over his shoulders to lock her away to keep her safe from discovery.

One of the best Bridgerton books
This book was funny, romantic, and overall a very good listen. I would definitely recommend.

what a twisty end to the series!
🎧 I finished the Bridgerton series! I’m so happy! This one was so much different to the rest of the series and the extend epilogue had me nervous at points. I loved the continuous relationship between Gregory and Hyacinth. Really happy to have finished the main siblings stories 🫶

Very unusual storyline
I thought this was going to follow the other tales in the series but it didn't! The suspense lasted right to the end! Very good and an enjoyable listen and unlike some of the earlier books, only 1 sex scene! In story line this one is more "Georgette Heyer" like than the rest of those in the series

This is my favourite book of the series. It has drama and intrigue and romance. it was difficult to put down.
I didn't want the story to end. I can't think of anything else I would change.

Brilliant book
I loved this book, I wished there was a little bit more to take away from the second epilogue. But overall it was most definitely very thrilling book.

Gets better mid-book
This book starts a bit boring and slow, Quinn is setting up the story but it could be edited down she can take ages to get to a line and I think she's doing it to grip you but it can be a bit much sometimes and it's quite annoying. The story gets better mid-book, and it becomes quite a gripping story but you have to get through the beginning first.
