Summary
Life has become a farcical mess for icy British A-lister Elizabeth Thornton. America's most-hated villain stars in a top-rated TV medical drama that she hates. Now, she's been romantically linked to her perky, new co-star, Summer, due to the young woman's clumsiness. As a closeted actress, that's the last thing Elizabeth needs. If she could just get her dream movie role, life would be so much better. The only problem is that the eccentric French film-maker offering it insists on meeting her "girlfriend", Summer, first.

My first Lee Winter experience
I bought this with a bit of trepidation, since most lesbian fiction tends to fall on the cringe side. However after reading some reviews I decided to give it a go and I am so glad I did. The characters are so full and addictive, the development of the relationship between Elizabeth and Summer is absolutely superb. I finished this within days and I am off to indulge myself in the works of Lee Winter.

Couldn't stop
Great storyline and the anticipation of what would happen next meant it was hard to stop listening. Occasional ropey English accent but the deeper voice for Elisabeth was mesmerising!!

Absolutely loved this book. the characters were so well written and the story ebbed and flowed beautifully and with depth. A must read!

really brilliant story line of actors in a medical series, really great characters all the way through and really brilliant narration with the different accents, with good comical moments and a really good happy ending as well (brilliant)👍👍❤

Fabulous
Wonderful book. Great storyline with fully rounders, believable characters.
I loved the ‘slow burn’ of the developing romance and the added bonus of fake girlfriend.
The sex scenes were great.
Angela Dawe deserves special mention. The narration of a book an make or break it. Angela Dawe makes this book. Her narration is wonderful - eg - different and distinctive voices for the characters. Her English accent wasn’t half bad! Her voice has a lovely cadence and timbre to it.

Sweet story, witty dialogues, brilliant narrator
First audio book that really enjoyed from start to finish. The story is well created for a romance book, quite many notes oh Shakespeare's work, so there is culture too. The characters are credible and the narrator is superb, first time I enjoy a narrator so much. Although English is not my mother tongue, I felt in love with Elizabeth's voice. I do recommend if you look for witty and more than a romance book. also there are few juicy scenes. Enjoy

Addicting!!
Binged listened to it throughout the night. The storyline and narration are all excellent 😍😍. I could fall asleep to Abby’s soothing voice.

Superb
The characterisations are beautifully written but the narration lifts this to the top of my favourite list - I've already listened twice and will queue it up at least once a month when I need a boost of soppiness and romance :) I love Summer and her family but Elizabeth made me weak at the knees and I'm British! My fervent hope is that there is a sequel and I'll get another 11 hours to delight in these characters and THAT accent :)
