Summary

In a city wreathed in fog,

a satanic killer stalks the streets...

Enter Lieutenant Foggia who, assisted by a spiritualist medium, must discover the reason for the slayings. But the truth he unearths is beyond anything he's encountered in the real world. For the killings are paving the way for a force so powerful that the lives of a few innocents will appear unimportant in comparison...

Packed with twists, and laced with spiritualism, witchcraft and demonology, Black Angel moves at a break-neck pace from its stomach-churning opening to the explosive final confrontation between man and demon.

Not sure about it.

On one hand the narration was very good. Plus it was intriguing but I was so near to giving up because I thought it was all a bit silly. But in the end I did quite enjoy it. I wouldn’t say it was a gripping story but I had to find out what happened. So I’d say 3/5 is a fair score

Keeps your interest, well worth a read.

Story kept my interest but I felt some of the characters were a bit over the top. Also felt a bit dated.

Male narrator was good apart from the female and children voices but it didn't detract from the story. It would be great if all audiobooks had the different characters played by a different people making them more like dramas.

Another Great Audiobook From Graham Masterton

This is the first “stand alone” audiobook from Graham Masterton, that I’ve listened to. I’ve listened to all the “series” audiobooks currently available on Audible, and I’ve enjoyed them all.

It has all the elements you’d expect from one of his books. That is violence, blood, guts and sex. So if you’re offended by these, the book probably isn’t for you.

The story was great and kept me interested from start to finish. It had some great twists and turns. The ending was very clever too.

The narrator was good bringing the characters to life. He was able to give each character a unique voice.

If you’ve enjoyed other audiobooks by Graham Masterton I’m sure you’ll enjoy this one.
