Interesting

This book is one of those books that you assume to be about one thing, but it turns out to be something completely different. Ruth Finnegan puts a lot of love into remembering her grandfather’s David Campbell Callender’s lifelong passion – birds.

The book paints an interesting parallel between birds and humans strongly suggesting the superiority of the flying creatures.

It is a rather short book, therefore do not expect to get an encyclopaedia-worth of bird knowledge. Peaceful Grace Winpenny’s narration combined with amusing intakes on bird life, make this book perfect for listening to it somewhere while being in nature.

I believe everyone should spare themselves to have an opportunity to enter a meditative-like state and reunite themselves with nature and I think this book is great for this occasion.

This is indeed a very warm book and everything about it screams ‘Love’. To nature, to gracious creatures of the sky but most importantly love to the beloved grandfather.
