Love and hate of a marketing genius and a tyran

After reading that biography of Jobs by Isacsson, I feel both hate and admiration when it comes to Steve Jobs story. That book is a must read if you want to understand Apple history, as well as silicon Valley evolution since the seventies. From now on, I would read any biography Isaacson would come up with, as I did with Da Vinci one, that was as much brilliant and even more inspiring, thanks to Leonardo character, that stands well above Jobs in so many department of his amazing creative persona.

An inspiring book

Nearly a decade after this biography came out, I finally finished it. While listening to it, I sometimes thought to myself maybe my choice for university course would be a complete twist comparing to what I've done and my life would have been utterly different. I teared up at times while listening to the parts where they described how Jobs was so passionate about details and the designs and it has inspired me greatly. I think this might turn out to be a life changing book for me.

It's a marvel.

I look at the world today and I know that I miss him, that we need him. That book makes it so clear, why.

Really touching

This is the first book I’ve bought on Audible. I’ve heard and read a lot of great reviews online before and it definitely lived up to my expectations.

The narrator was very clear, and kept different intonation which also added to the overall feel and immersion.

It was great listening to
