Fascinating

I really bought this for the parts about Steve's career at Apple, but enjoyed the whole thing. It's really a book in 3 parts. The first part is his early life, the second part is the founding of Apple and the third part is the second coming at Apple and his untimely death. It gives a fantastic insight as to how he managed to turn Apple round when he returned as CEO. You could learn more about running a successful company from this book that any of the management books you see in airport book shops. A fantastic, well narrated, listen about a very complex and inspiration figure in the world of personal computing and electronics. Sad to think he died relatively young. Highly recommend.

Amazing book.

The book was great. It perfectly described Jobs and certainly I've learned a lot about him, the way he was managing through tough times, the way he led. Truly amaxing, but it had lots of details for my taste.
I think Steve, through this book, might have changed the way I take decisions and has influenced the way I think.

A unique man,

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely . An interesting biography of a unique person . Not just the amazing success of his ideas but an insight into the unusual lifestyle .

What did you like best about this story?

Warts and all really . Steve Jobs could be very unpleasant as well as a kind of genius .

Have you listened to any of Dylan Baker and Walter Isaacson (introduction) ’s other performances? How does this one compare?

Only this one .

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Actually yes , but it was too long .

Any additional comments?

Perhaps the most interesting non-fiction audio I've listened to recently .

Well rounded autobiography

A well researched and balanced perspective of a 20th century genius.

Was very impressed with the back and forth yet forward timeline approach to the book giving a perspective and account of all angles to his life. Really appreciate what it took to be a great man like him but also understood what it took to be able to work and live with such a person.

Narration was on the whole good but in places a little flat but overall worth the listen and buy.
