Narrated with her trademark humour, warmth and honesty, Davina McCall shares her life experiences.
'I am a work in progress. There are times when I feel in control and like I know what I'm doing...and there are times (quite a few) (actually lots) when I've got no idea what's going on, where to turn, what to do, how to behave, and those are the times I've sought help! I have been helped by some extraordinary people. I've been supported and counselled through my recovery from drugs and alcohol. I've been hypnotised to get me through my ultimate fears. I've read a squibillion (that's a lot) of fantastic self-help books and I have shared and shared with the greatest girlfriends and family of all time. These nuggets of wisdom have, at times, literally kept me going, so I thought I'd pay it forward and share them with you....'
In this long-awaited audiobook, Davina McCall shares the tips and wisdoms learned on her 'work-in-progress' journey through life.
Warm, engaging, honest and generous, this audiobook will make you laugh and cry in equal measure. Lessons I've Learned is the closest thing to a Davina hug and we all need one of those....

I really enjoyed listening to this! It was lovely to hear Davina herself read it, it's incredibly honest about pretty much everything!!
It's the kind of book you need a note pad beside you to take notes. Her lessons learnt are quite practical and can be transferred into ones own life. But there's ALOT! So having a pen and pad would be a handy tip.
I really enjoyed it and 100% recommend from around the age 15/16 years to read right up to around davinas age ish both male and female.
It leaves you feeling positive and as if you've had a good talk with a friend, that satisfied feeling you get.
AND shocker here.... she swears alittle. OMG lol. But as she reads you can tell she's completely lost herself and is just talking not reading. Which is lovely!
Two thumbs up and a huge thank you for the book! The honesty of it, and the kindness of taking time to pass it all on :)
so personal and so moving. You feel as though she is talking to you directly and offering you a guide and listening ear. never enjoyed a book so much
I loved the beginning chapters but found some chapters quite boring. Maybe because I'm older than Davina. At 48 she still has lots to learn but comes across like she knows it all. I did finish the book and Davina read it really well.
Absolutely well worth the read/listen. Combination of background of DM within context of life lessons. Great book to give to someone struggling to find their way. Light with depth of thought over material. I recommended this book to my friends.
One of my favourite audiobooks of all time. Beautifully narrated by Davina herself which brought such character and soul to the words, it is as she wanted to tell it and it shows.
Lots of practical advice; as someone who has enjoyed many self help books this was an amazing read (or listen!) as the advice from the heart rather than researched and clinical.
I admire Davina for being so open and honest with her life, such a true inspiration!
And that's a good thing what a wonderful book and a joy to listen to and had the book done in 2 days. Made my walks a joy and just wilded anyway the miles and there where some great life lessons that everyone could do with reminding of. Did not know a lot about Davina before but love her now big fan
One of my very very favourite books
