Summary
Classic Western: Sixteen years ago, Ben Moss was sheriff in his Texas town and in love with a woman, Cassie, who married his best friend. When a gang of bloodthirsty outlaws kills his best friend, Ben seeks revenge on the deadly gang. But after an indiscretion leaves Ben wracked with guilt, he leaves Texas abruptly, settling in New Mexico.
But one gang member, Arno, on the run for 16 years, still seeks vengeance on Ben. When he arrives back in Texas, under a false identity, the trouble begins as he seeks out Cassie, the woman Ben has not stopped thinking about in 16 years.
When Ben heads back to Texas to find Arno and bring him to justice, he finds a tangled web so deep, he's not sure it can be easily unraveled. As he seeks vengeance, a shocking secret is revealed, and Ben finds his life slowly spiraling out of control.
