Good Listen

Found book to be a good listen, informative, helpful, insightful and practical both in the way it was written and read.

The listing of simptoms and variants relevant to condition was very insightful.

Furthermore the knowledge expressed and explained regarding each condition, along with various ways to treat or combat the conditions was great.

I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to explore potential diagnosis of autism in the family. To aid in a better understanding of the subject matter on a basic level and how the many variants of the condition can differ.

Plus the indicators listed although not exhaustive are a great start.

Explains the subject clearly.

Explains the subject clearly and develops many sound and practical ideas. Just enough information about the theory with plenty of helpful tips and ideas to use every day. As a parent and carer of someone with Autism I can say from experience that Alan has focused on many of the things that can make a real difference and as a result this isn't just a book to listen it is one that you can use with confidence.

Title misleading

Just a brief description of methods and very subjective information on whether they are effective. I learned nothing new…
