Summary

Fairy tales...you've all read them. Cherished stories of magical characters, wicked stepmothers, enchantments, and adventure. But what if everything you believed to be good and true was a lie? What if the actual truth was an even greater tale?

Listen to the accounts from those who lived them. Just how did Rumpelstiltskin turn straw into gold? Who was the giant in Jack’s story? Were Red Riding Hood and Alice really that innocent? Why did the Pied Piper lure the children away? And who is asking all the questions?

A Likely Story is the first book in The Villain Files, essential listening for anyone who wants to discover the real story behind their favorite fairy tales. Sometimes, the truth is stranger than any fiction.

A Unique Take On Some Well Loved Fairy Tales

This is a fascinating, unique, imaginative take on some well loved fairy tales offering the “true behind the scenes” story behind them all such as Rumpelstiltskin who may not have been as bad as the stories made him out to be. Also could Red Riding Hood have been the villain of her story with her boyfriend “Wolfie” an unwitting accomplice. Definitely a worthwhile listen to everyone who loves their fairy tales and wants to see a different take on them. I look forward to listening to more.
