Love the audio.
The main reason I wanted this book was because of the narrator, Thomas Locklear. He did not disappoint. I love all his different voices. The story was just ok for me. I don’t think it was very dark, just some spankings. Maybe the details of the oil rig wasn’t as interesting as I thought it would be. If you are on the fence I say, go for it.

Strong characters
I really enjoyed this book. The Storyline was strong and the characters were well written. With a fantastic performance from Thomas as usual, it really does emphasise the whole experience of this book.

I'm in the minority
I'm definitely in the minority here because I wasn't a fan of the audio read. It seemed very choppy to me and yes, the male narrator has a sexy voice but I was listening at 1.65x because the pacing seemed slow and choppy.
Other than that, the story was ok but I wasn't a fan. I felt it would have been more impactful if the heroine actually stood her ground and was the boss lady she was supposed to be rather than melt at the first man with a growl.

rough and dirty wow, wow.
As always Thomas Locklear does not disappoint.
I have no Idea how he does those voices but OMG!! makes your heart flirter.
Charlie is one hell of a woman no messing with her and her bad ass boys.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book.
if you love spankings you come to the right place.
I would recommed this book, steam on fire from beginning to end.

- [ ] Thomas Locklear and Piper Stone are a combination that I always grab hold of. This one was amazing. Piper has grown into this genre and she always has strong heroines. This one really kept me involved in the story. All of characters held my mind and heart. So much happened in this book and I feel that Piper has grown in the development of to this story. Great story building in this one! Hot sensual interactions with all of the main characters. It really had me wanting to follow along with all of them!
- [ ] Not hard when an audiobook is done by the he professional Thomas Locklear who always amazes me. The first narrator who had me searching for all I of the narrators when it was all him! Really, if you haven’t heard Thomas you need to enjoy all his audiobooks!
