Summary
Emma is back, and is now faced with a new and terrifying encounter. Her abductor has her exactly where he wants her, promising to take her back home safely, if she bears the children of the four different species of J'hec, intelligent and somewhat humanoid creatures, in the rain forest. Without the knowledge of the land, and knowing her chances of survival are slim without him, she willingly agrees.
