Summary

Dorothy and her little dog Toto befriend the Tinman, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion as they travel down the yellow brick road to the City of Emeralds. Maureen Lipman cackles splendidly as the Wicked Witch of the West in this acclaimed BBC Radio 4 dramatisation of L. Frank Baum's famous and much-loved tale.

I like the play type narration

This is like watching a film without the pictures, i like that the different characters are played by different people

The best I've heard

A really amazing listen, with spot-on casting and superb voice-acting! The best dramatisation for children and adults I've heard from the BBC in a long time. No matter your age it's well worth a listen.
