Summary

The Keeper of Stories meets The Lost Apothecary in this evocative and charming novel full of mystery and secrets.

‘The thing about books,’ she said ‘is that they help you to imagine a life bigger and better than you could ever dream of.’

On a quiet street in Dublin, a lost bookshop is waiting to be found…

For too long, Opaline, Martha and Henry have been the side characters in their own lives.

But when a vanishing bookshop casts its spell, these three unsuspecting strangers will discover that their own stories are every bit as extraordinary as the ones found in the pages of their beloved books. And by unlocking the secrets of the shelves, they find themselves transported to a world of wonder… where nothing is as it seems.

Marvelous

I couldn't stop listening, I wanted to know more and more about Opaline. Her story was really hard to process, but she finally got some peace and happiness on her terms.
Such an amazing story.

Fabulous

So enjoyable. Twists & turns & pulls you in to the story. I didn’t want it to end. A magical mix of people, eras and journeys. A masterpiece so cleverly written you won’t be able to put it down.

Got absolutely involved in the story

Didn’t want it to end. The story of Opaline was fascinating- would love to have heard more. It’s a really interesting and well told story. Had to search up other peoples thoughts on Madam Bowden. Henry could be a bit irritating, and a few loose ends, but other than those minors - a really good read.

A wonderful Journey throughout.

Nothing to dislike about this book. I had caught up with all the other authors that I usually buy I thought I would take a look at other audio books with Good reviews. The title sounded intriguing and all the reviews were positive so I took the plunge and I wasn't disappointed it grabbed my attention from the start and it was a wonderful journey throughout and one that will stay in the memory.

To me …this is what reading is all about

A magical story that I fell into and didn’t want to leave. The interwoven stories all narrated perfectly.
