I thoroughly enjoyed this account of Monty Dons family of dogs over the years and the beautiful description of the gardens and the ups and downs that come with canine companionship.
I could not stop listening.

Wonderful to be told about the canine members of the family over the years - more special as read by Monty himself.

Really well written and expertly delivered. A journey that made me laugh out loud but also cry a number of times. Monty reads with clear love and affection for his dogs which just makes it more emotive.

Well Monty has surprised me as a narrator of his book. A lovely voice, humorous, soft and easy to listen too. I smiled lots and had the lump in my throat at the sad parts. This is a very relaxing book to listen too. Would recommend highly.
