In a Class All its Own!
I've always said that they should teach personal finance and money management in high school, but most kids aren't exposed to it until they are thrown into the raging river after they graduate. Then it's sink or swim. Well, thank goodness for this book. Its no-nonsense, straightforward explanation of money and finance is right on the, well, money! And it's presented in a way that most teens will find interesting. It even comes with a downloadable pdf so you can look things up later in case you need the reference. Wondering if you have to pay taxes? Check out the chapter on "What Uncle Sam Doesn't Want You to Know". The importance of early investing? It's in there. How about credit scores and how they can work for you or against you? Check. Well written and expertly narrated, I recommend this book for any teen wanting to get ahead financially (or a parent who wants theirs to succeed financially).
