Summary

From the million-copy bestselling author of The Chronicles of St Mary's.

Patience is not a virtue known to the Time Police. And Commander Hay is facing the longest day of her life...

After their heroic efforts to safeguard the Acropolis and prevent the Paris Time-Stop, the Time Police have gone from zero to hero. Then one fateful mission to apprehend a minor criminal selling dodgy historical artefacts blows up in all their faces.

An officer is attacked within TPHQ. A prisoner is murdered. And investigations are about to lead to the one place where no officer can legally tread.

Worst of all, trouble is brewing for Luke, Jane and Matthew as a shocking revelation threatens to tear Team Weird apart for good.

For fans of Doctor Who, The Thursday Murder Club and Jasper Fforde.

Absolutely Brilliant

Was slightly apprehensive as this is the fourth book in series needn’t have worried it was Jodi Taylor at her best with her mixture of humour, chaos twisting plot line and characters, with Zara Rams brilliant narration will have no problem listening again

Good enough

I've read or listened to all of St Mary's and TP books. I really like Jodie Taylor's style, humour and story telling. The natlrarion by Zara Ramm is always good too.

Having watched all the characters develop into their unique ways over the years, I found they all seemed to have the same witty sense of humour on this book - Raymond Parish, conversations between Hay and the Captain, even Max was portrayed like a giddy teenager at times. This somehow made it a bit one dimensional. Not sure if enough attention was paid to the character's originality.

I did of course still finished the book in 2 days. Still entertaining and enjoyable. I just would have expected a bit more depth I guess.

Entertaining

Highly entertaining, funny, cringeworthy too, the keystone cops meets sci-fi. The narrator is outstanding.

Team Wierd strike again

A great 4th addition to the TP stories which moves the characters on. you have to concentrate because it jumps about in time a bit but it well worth it. Zara Ramms narration is a joy to listen to.

Loved it

Listened to this whilst out walking, so good I nearly got lost. Only criticism is that Plimpton is turning into another Ronan, popping up as a major player in every book.
