Summary

Here today. Dead tomorrow? Last night I almost died. A fire consumed the hotel room where my best friend, Emily, and I slept. Emily was killed. But I can't afford to cry, to grieve. It was meant to be me. And he'll be coming for my daughter next. The press thinks it was me that died. At best that gives me 24 hours. Twenty-four hours to find Polly and disappear. Twenty-four hours to stay alive.

24 Hours is a fast-paced, intelligent psychological thriller that will leave you breathless.

the ending- all life is there

l loved this book for various reasons- it was a great mystery with plenty of suspense but it also involved you in the characters & the chaos. It felt very true to life for me &, despite the real sadness of the ending (which made me cry- always a good sign of a great book), there was affirmation in a life lived. The narration was excellent, thank goodness.
