Blue Moon is the latest instalment in Lee Child's internationally popular Jack Reacher series, read by Jeff Harding.

Shortlisted for the Audible Sounds of Crime Award 2020.

AS FEATURED ON RICHARD & JUDY'S 'KEEP READING AND CARRY ON'

Jack Reacher is back in a brand new white-knuckle listen from Lee Child.
It's a random universe, but once in a blue moon things turn out just right.

In a nameless city, two rival criminal gangs are competing for control. But they hadn't counted on Jack Reacher arriving on their patch.

Reacher is trained to notice things.

He's on a Greyhound bus, watching an elderly man sleeping in his seat, with a fat envelope of cash hanging out of his pocket. Another passenger is watching too ... hoping to get rich quick.

As the mugger makes his move, Reacher steps in.

The old man is grateful, yet he turns down Reacher's offer to help him home. He's vulnerable, scared, and clearly in big, big trouble.

What hold could the gangs have on the old guy? Will Reacher be in time to stop bad things happening?

The odds are better with Reacher involved. That's for damn sure.

'This is one of his best' -
The Times

Although the Jack Reacher novels can be read in any order, Blue Moon is the 24th in the series.

And be sure not to miss Reacher's newest adventure, no.26, Better off Dead!

Yup

As Simon (below) said. Lee Child and Jeff Harding totally nailed it. Bring on the next book. Loved it.

Great read

Right up there with the best of the Jack Reacher books. Started well and just kept getting better. I could hardly bear to put it down. As always Jeff Harding nails the narration.

Reacher's back

some of the latter books were ok, getting caught up with too much over thinking and technical detail. But Reacher's back on form.
This harkens back to "The Killing Floor" days.
Great stuff

Too much boys own violence not enough real story

A fan of the Jack Reacher series. This one disappointing. Too many violent set pieces, not enough story. Does highlight the rediclous greed of the USA mainstream medical providers. Ugh.

Either Child or Reacher are getting tired.

having read all Reachers to date I found this one to be in a different writing style. it was all too pat and too convenient. maybe Child is getting tired of the character but not of the revenue. seemed as though it could have been written by a literal child. unimaginative and lazy writing just to churn out another episode in everyone's favourite ex MP Jack Reacher. Maybe Child should write another of Reacher's adventures occurring during his tenure as Major Jack Reacher or earlier in his military career and put a bit more oomph in it.

Not the usual top notch Jack Reacher story

Not the usual top notch story we/I come to except, however in isolation still a good listen, just a little flat.

Excellent performance and story

Non-stop headlong rush of pure Reacher - brilliant story, characters and plot. Loved the ironic demise of some of the baddies.

Another great book with JR!

I've read every book in the past and loved them, now i don't have as much time to read, i tried this option. Was a little funny at the start as Jack Reacher sounded different in my head to what the narrator portrayed however soon got over that and enjoyed the experience.
