When the two women bump into one another at a local coffee shop, it seems like fate has intervened: Winnie’s new-found success is courtesy of a shady business and she needs a favour; Ava is realising she is not built for the stay-at-home life. But what starts as one favour turns into two, then three, and soon Ava is in far deeper than she ever imagined.

If you love handbags this book is for you!
I think this book was wasted on me as l don’t know a LV from a Sainsbury carrier bag but it doesn’t hi light the obscene conditions children work in to satisfy greedy rich women. It’s all just a food chain!

Great story with twists and easy listening

Quick read

Such an unexpected twist!
Such an unexpected twist halfway, I loved it! It’s also a story of model minority syndrome interlaced with a larger conversation about what it means to be successful in this system. Really enjoyed it, finished it in two days.

love love love! I really enjoyed this book, although fiction, clearly it was well researched. The narrators voice, for me, was spot on. Only criticism , the end came to quick, hope you enjoy.
