House Arrest Without a Home

Shawn O’Brien

Pre-law student Shawn O’Brien loses his mind when he finds his live-in boyfriend Jasper Logan with a younger man in their bed. Shawn breaks the law and ends up in big trouble, in danger of losing his scholarship and freedom. He needs a new place to live to serve his house arrest sentence, or he will go to jail for six months.

Noah Braun

Successful District Prosecuting Attorney Noah Braun has it all: money, friends, and a top career, but he’s at risk of losing it all as he grieves the loss of his husband. His father, Judge Braun, finds the perfect lover to save his son. The judge asks Noah to take Shawn into his home to complete his sentence.

Everything changes when Noah and Shawn meet and find themselves living together. Noah is determined to do whatever it takes to prove to Shawn that their relationship will be different from his nightmarish one with Jasper.

Can Noah find a way to win Shawn’s heart forever, or will Shawn move on when his house arrest is complete?

All the Dark Lies

After months of chatting online with the mysterious Charles, Nathan leaves behind his life in a small town in Pennsylvania to move to London for a man he’s never seen.

Nathan agrees to be the man’s sub with the hope his life will change. One big problem: Nathan is a virgin and has only had virtual relationships.

When Nathan arrives in London, Charles is nowhere in sight, only a limo driver with mysterious instructions....

Redeeming Jayden

Jayden Barron

Twenty-two-year-old artist Jayden Barron is summoned home from New York City by his father to assist in the family business of painting and selling replica art to international rogue buyers. Nothing prepares him for what he encounters when he arrives, however. His entire family is missing.

Those his father has been dealing with rarely return missing people alive. The family attorney sends Jayden out of the country for his protection, straight into a haunted castle with a singing ghost who leaves him lilacs in the middle of the night. Fortunately, the castle also has Harlan Wendell.

Harlan Wendell

Affluent, generous, thirty-two-year-old German translator Harlan Wendell has every material possession he could want, but no love in his life. He hires young Jayden to recreate his family portraits lost in a fire. It isn’t long before he realizes that Jayden is much more than an employee to him, and they begin a relationship that fulfills both their desires.

When events take a dramatic turn and secrets are revealed, can Harlan protect Jayden and their love?

Note: Can be enjoyed in any order.

I tried 90 minutes

Well, the drama was there. I really felt for Shane in Book 1.
But the writing was horrible. All tell no show. Long, unrealistic monologs while talking to someone. Cheesy language and weird metaphors. And I may be wrong but is a judge allowed to rule over the case of an acquaintence? And how come Shane left the house with nothing but conveniently had his gun on him?
The narrator fitted the novel. In a nice, polite voice he reads about hurt, drama, violence and injustice. He glosses over emotions the text mentions and then suddenly chooses an overly dramatic tone of voice for some character. He also did not stop for a millisecond between paragraphs or when the point of view shifted.
And last: the audio quality was not good. I heard humming sound in the background, similar to wind blowing in a mic.
