Summary

They are my harvest, and I will reap them all.

Returning to Guthrie, Oklahoma, for the funeral of his mysterious and beloved aunt, Sue, Adam Binder once again finds himself in the path of deadly magic when a dark druid begins to prey on members of Adam’s family. It all seems linked to the death of Adam’s father many years ago - a man who may have somehow survived as a warlock.

Watched by the police, separated from the man who may be the love of his life, compelled to seek the truth about his connection to the druid, Adam learns more about his family and its troubled history than he ever bargained for, and finally comes face-to-face with the warlock he has vowed to stop.

Meanwhile, beyond the Veil of the mortal world, Argent the Queen of Swords and Vic the Reaper undertake a dangerous journey to a secret meeting of the Council of Races...where the sea elves are calling for the destruction of humanity.

Not my cup of tea

The story appears solid and curious. But some details remind me of Dresden Files a bit much. And it feels just slightly wrong. I don't see anything that would make this book bad, I think it's decently written, but just not for me.

I enjoyed listening to this but not as good as book 1

The story was good , although didn’t have the same depth as the first and less interaction between some characters which meant some reactions seemed emotionally shallow .
Story left on a cliff hanger / unfinished story and felt shorter - at this time the 3rd isn’t on audible.
I enjoyed listening to this but not as good as book 1

Wow

This was so good! I have recently discovered the series of books and I love them. They are written so well and have become an addiction. If you like magic mixed with middle American vibes it’s for you! I can’t wait for book 3

Did it for me again!

Thanks mr David for this amazing story! I loved the grandiose of Vic’s perspective and I even loved the elves. It was a great balance between this and what Adam was going through. This one got me even better than the first book so I can’t wait to see and hear what the next one is going to be about! I hope this is a trilogy as I’ll suffer if I have to wait

Excellent!

The story is gripping, the characters are intriguing, the writing is so descriptive without being overwhelming and flowery. 🥰🙏🏽💖

I had Read the first book 'White Trash Warlock', and I had been so eager to read the next book! I wasn't disappointed!!!!🏅
I highly recommend these books if you like a dark magic vibe with humorous touches, tension in real world relationships as well as in other worlds, epic disasters and humble heroes.
Also , having a gay/ bisexual love story that is important but also not the only important thread, is pretty cool!
I don't really know what else to say other than, the narration was to notch too! 🏆
Thank you David R.Slayton for such enthralling stories, I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK! And thank you Michael David Axtell for bringing these stories to life so vividly through your narration!
5 stars for everything!!! 😍🤩⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Trailer Park Trickster

Having stumbled by chance on the first audio book as it was free, I was enthralled from the start and quickly listened to this second book. I equally loved this one and thought it was cleverly done. The story maintained the pace and tension throughout, but kept the same endearing charm of all the characters. I did get a bit confused at times with the story twists - but have now bought both books so I can refer back to those parts. Both Adam and Vic are great characters. Can’t wait the book number 3. Can’t recommend these enough.
