Summary

She thought she had married her soul mate. But when Carol Kennedy could no longer tolerate her husband's reckless womanizing and out-of-control spending, the artist, therapist, and mother of two had to let him go. Just weeks after their divorce, Carol was found in her Arizona ranch home - bludgeoned to death with a golf club. Her ex, Steven DeMocker, was the prime suspect. Yet it took the authorities months to arrest him - and years to convict....

Touching, upsetting and beautifully written

This is t just another tale or wife being murdered and the husband is blamed.
The author brings Carol to lifeand it's joyous to listen to how she enjoyed life but heartbreaking to hear about her lows.
Her friend Jim was treated appallingly and I cried to hear about his sadness after Carols murder.
Wonderful stuff

Excellent

This was a most interesting listen. It was well researched and well written. The narrator was clear, precise, and easy to listen to. Recommended. This man was very narcissistic in so many ways. It was the most henious and brutal murder of a beautiful soul. Carol had so much to live for. May she rest in peace forever.
