Summary
But what of Minty, the woman who snaffled Rose's husband and her job? Now married to Nathan and the mother of six-year-old twins, she has achieved what many women dream of, the life of a well-to-do Yummy-mummy. Yet, the transition from bright, kitten-esque, sexy office siren to a coddled dependent is not entirely satisfactory. What happens to a contemporary Becky Sharp when she has achieved her objectives?

Worth listening to, but not captivating .
I enjoyed this book, but took a long time to get through it because I could turn it off quite easily. Well thought through, with reL characters.
I just think it could have been a little shorter.

Revenge of the middle aged woman was great, but the sequel not so great
Having read revenge of the middle aged woman, I was excited to see that there was a sequel, the second wife. I was disappointed, the focus was on an unlikeable character, Minty, with main characters who I really wanted to know about from the previous book barely developed.
