Summary

After the chaos of Tellus—the world of the spear users—Randidly Ghosthound returns to Earth needing time to recover and heal.

Randidly's Skills have grown at a rapid pace, keeping him far ahead of any individual on his home planet. Yet the System has continued its own methodical advance, meaning Randidly has no time to take the rest he needs.

Zone 32 now hosts two Champions; individuals provided by the System who can teach unique Skills to their followers. In the one corner, wreathed in a green light, comes the Wild Rider. Opposite her stands the stark and intimidating Skeleton Knight. The previously isolated populations come together, clustering around these two figures.

By the time word reaches Randidly that his friends Ace and Sydney yet live, a harsh truth is revealed: in the end, there can only be one Champion of Zone 32.

On the horizon, an even larger decision looms. In order to keep ahead of the curve and create a miracle, Randidly can only think of one possibility: to finally obtain a Class of his own. Not from a Village Spirit, but forged with his own hands.

This is book four of the hit LitRPG fantasy series with over 50 Million views on Royal Road.

Another great instalment

Great story and building of the characters. As always good narration. Looking forward to book 5 to see where the story goes.

Book 4 seemed a bit of filler for Book 5

Not as good as first 3 books and for me book 4 seems to set up a book 5 - liked pieces he was back in Donnigton but overall not as good as first 3

Excellent

I started listening to the series not long after the last book came out - quite a wait, but we'll worth it

Did anything even happen in this book?

QA didn't pick up on about 5 mistakes during the editing of this, Podium is always great and this is an exception to their normal stellar quality.

For the writing, I get the Simon/David part great, loved it. The person inside him coming out and the invasive soul in him, also great, The champions were suuuuuper underwhelming and the creature that seems to be a huge part of the story i had no idea about until Ghosthound said it'd ran into a dungeon. wasn't explained very well.

Wasn't the whole main story about him finding his 2 mates. He's known where they are for over 2.5 books now. Great he found Ace by accident, stupid he attacked him, very lame. but he knows where Sydney is.. go find her dipshit. like actually wtf.. why put so much emphasis on ace and Sydney if he's not going to do anything about it. Seems like Puddles4263 has some great ideas but gets lost in the tangents and has a hard time closing and remembering where the story was supposed to go.

If he doesn't close some loose ends in book 5 I'm going to stop following this series. Story is just falling apart
