Summary

The paranormal investigators at Gulf Coast Paranormal thought they knew what they were doing. Midas, Sierra, Sara, Josh, and Peter had over 20 combined years of experience investigating supernatural activity on the Gulf Coast. But when they meet Cassidy, a young artist with a strange gift, they realize there's more to learn. And time is running out for Cassidy.

When Gulf Coast Paranormal begins investigating the ghosts of Kali Oka Road, they find an entity far scarier than a few ghosts. Add in the deserted Oak Grove Plantation, and you have a recipe for a night of terror.

The ghosts of Kali oka road

Mainly listened as I know a Kali, haha, I’m now off to listen to the rest
The chapters go between Cassidy and Midas, one section narrated by each.
Great, especially for free!

Excellent start to the series!

An overall great book. A quick listen, with a great mix of characters which will definitely be built on over future books. A must listen for fans of supernatural/mystery reads. Have already started the next one!

Too many loose ends, not a scary story either

And to make it even worst, the narration in my opinion was off, sounding comical at times

Very enjoyable and engaging story

A really enjoyable and engaging story, well performed by the two narrators.
As with many of the titles in this series, it was quite brief, but the characters and plots didn’t suffer.
Thanks

Amateurish

Weak story and annoying female narrator. Glad it was a freebie and I hadn’t paid for it.

YA in story, depth and narrator - not my cup of tea.

Despite the characters being in their mid-20’s, this book feels very much like it was written for/aimed at a YA audience.
For a die-hard fan of the ghost/supernatural/occult genre, I find that there is no depth, not much substance to the story/plot. Not at all scary.
