Summary
Penguin presents the audiobook edition of The Burning Maze by Rick Riordan, read by Robbie Daymond.
I was a god once. Until I was cast out by my father, Zeus. Now I'm an awkward mortal teenager called Lester.
My way out? A series of scary and dangerous trials, of course. For my third mission, I must:
Journey through the Labyrinth to free an Oracle who speaks only in puzzles.
Defeat a vicious and bloodthirsty Roman Emperor - the most vicious of three very vicious and bloodthirsty Roman Emperors.
Is that all? No, I've to do everything without any of my godly powers. Wonderful. Looks like I'll be needing all the help I can get. From new friends and old....

Amazing Book!
The Burning Maze was amazing and Jason’s death was one of the most saddest moments in the trials of Apollo series. Book 4 & 5 here I come!

Worth it
With many annoying moments and dialog that treats the listener like a very young child, I found it supprisingly good.

I've enjoyed the whole series so far
It's been great so far. Not the best. And a few things do annoy me such as saying Gaia wrong. Although, I thought he was going to get it right this time as the first time her name was pronounced he got it right, then every time after wrong.
Also, at the beginning I thought it was a new narrator as his Meg was off from previous books.
Anyway, it was a nice listen, and cheaper to use a credit rather than paying almost £10 for the book, and more convenient as I listen while at work.
It will be nice seeing what happens next as it seems this series will be 5 books long. It would have been nice to mix it up further with some Norse or Egyptian stuff going on. The 3 emperor's could have been so much better if one was from Rome, one from Egypt, and the last from the Norse. That would have been awesome having to deal with all three crossing over.
