Summary

Deep in a Derbyshire cave, the skeleton of an 11-year-old girl has lain undisturbed for 18 years. Its discovery brings to light the half-forgotten and horrifying rituals performed by a group of children in their chilling 'Egyptian game'.

But the game is by no means over. Technology adds a new dimension to the sinister manipulation practiced by the group's former leader, and a primitive fear returns to haunt his former acolytes.

As DS Tom Ward exposes the continuing power of an ancient evil, he find himself dangerously involved in its unexpected and devastating consequences.

a page turner.

i bought it because this narrator guy is brilliant and really brings the book to life for me - sometimes i find it hard to stay with a book on my long drives. fortunately for me in this case, the author is also brilliant. i'm half way through and dying to know what happens in the end.

Twisty (or twisted?)

I really enjoyed this book which had all sorts of things going on involving murder, weirdos in caves and I.T genius. Well told and if it was on paper, it would have been a great page turner. I couln't wait to find out what happened but when I finished, I wanted more!
