Learn to embrace yourself
I think it is in most women's nature to have self-doubt and put this immense amount of pressure on ourselves. As a black woman, those inner critics can be rather harsh. Not only are you trying to be the person you want to be but then you have outside influences and critics that are judging your every move because of who you are. Chapter 2 kicks things into gear to welcome all of your baggage, all of your doubt, all of your anxiety and everything else about yourself. The chapter talks about accepting those imperfections because who says what's perfect and imperfect? The book helps you to shush your self-doubt and instead turn those doubts into strengths and positives. Great book for anyone who is struggling or just wants more empowerment.
