Summary

Mexico is famous for its rich culture, ancient ruins, dazzling beaches, and spicy cuisine. But there is a darker side to America's southern neighbour, with vicious gangs dealing in drugs. extortion, money laundering, human trafficking and contract killings. Jack Nightingale came across his fair share of villains when he worked for the Metropolitan Police in London. But nothing could prepare him for the evil that was waiting for him when he crossed the Rio Grande river and entered Mexico - an evil that is hunting for an immortal soul. A very special soul.

Semi disappointing

Once again Stephen delivers a great read, and the narration by Paul is second to none.

Only one gripe, not enough of Proserpine or the the supernatural. Every other book Jack is summoning one demon or another and battling the forces.

But the storyline is still gripping.

One of the Best.

I have to admit, Jack Nightingale stories are always good if not a little samey, but this one had a sting at the end there, just to remind us how good this series is.

As always the narration is superb and spot on. I honestly cannot wait for the next to come out.

Another Great

another great Nightingale book from Stephen Leather. as always a good story that although similar to others and so slightly predictable still entertains and keeps me looking forward to the next one.
