Dream come true
Having my own chickens has been a dream of mine for years now and I now have the confidence to take the plunge and do it! This book was such a lifesaver and I would recommend it to anyone wanting homegrown eggs. I've read another book on this topic and this one far surpassed it. There's so much detail about every stage of chicken rearing from selecting the right place to get your chicks, all the way through to simple recipe ideas for eggs!

What an informative book about raising chickens! But wait- there's more! Why have chickens without a garden? They pretty much grow your crops for you! This book tells you how to make their coop and protect the chickens from predators, get more eggs, and leave a smaller carbon footprint. There are so many practical details packed into this book.
