Summary

A team of military special operators. A lost race of advanced beings. An invading swarm of land-hungry sentient robots.

An elite team of SAS special operators battle across the multiverse after a plague of land-hungry sentient robots invade today’s Earth. But, when an aircraft carrier-based counterattack goes horribly wrong, it traps the team in an alien universe with a top-secret group who’ve already saved the world twice. After discovering a dark plot that threatens humanity’s very existence, the two groups jump into action, fighting both on the surface and in orbit in a last-ditch effort to stop the enemy before time runs out.

With the fate of two Earths hanging in the balance, the combined teams must pull a lost race of advanced beings off history’s scrapheap, or humanity will join them in oblivion.

Magnitude combines sleek starships, strange aliens, and high-tech weaponry to pit heroes, zeroes, and a smart-assed battlebot against powerful enemies. Fans of Live Die Repeat, Expeditionary Force, the Bobiverse, and Dimension Space will love the thrilling action in this time-travel multiverse war epic.

curious where this is going...

good series, only gripe is that the bleedin obvious seems to take an eternity for the characters to realise and with the latest twist in this book I hope the author can keep it sensible in the next. that aside, loving the ties to the magnificent Skippy and Bray works his magic as normal. I eagerly await the next installment

I needed energy drinks to even just listen to this

I waited with bated breath for this book and it was so worth it.
Full of characters, witty, breathless action and as the story unfolds our Hero's race to save the day once more.

Narrated by the superhuman R.C. Bray who characterises this story with an ease, that has to be heard to be believed.

You won't be dissapointed but book some time off work to recover coZ you'll need it!

Great follow up to the first series

Would I recommend listening to this before the solitude trilogy?

No.

Is it as good? Absolutely.

What else is good? RC bray takes full helm in this variant, and while Julia did a great job as Angela - the overall performance increased a notch.

Great 4th book

Accidently got magnitude before I realised it was set after the triogy. So stopped and went back to listen to them first. Binging the four books over two weeks.

Each installment seems to get better. as an expeditionary force fan I like the similarities.

There are some overused/repeated descriptive sentences throughout. Drinking game when you hear them ?
"Throat Clicks in his/here ear"
"Mouth pressed into a thin line"

Think there was another.

Excellent as expected!

Once again a fast paced well written story line!
My only detraction is……
Where are the verbal fumbles collated and played at the end of RC’s previous books?

MORE FUMBLES PLEASE!
