Summary
With Kingsley safe and Momar subdued for the moment, it's time for healing. Jessie and the gang take a much-needed break.

An outstanding audiobook narrated by the Queen of this genre.👑 It has almost become a joke at this point that she misprounces Niamh (Neve) into Knee-Ev.🤣
Although this wasn't my favourite book in this series so far, that honour goes to MM Battle, it had a lot of elements that needed to be explored, tied in, tied up, and thoroughly enjoyed.😉
No one does this genre better than this author, in my opinion, and I dread the day she decides to stop writing about these characters!😳
This book saw Nessa/The Captain and Sebastian/Elliott Graves back on the search for answers on the mages. They were dropping bodies and then bombshells on Jessie and the crew, thankfully not together!🙈
Jessie, Austin, and Jimmy, her son, along with most of the core group from Ivy House and the shifter pack, headed to LA for Christmas. Oh, they also had two parties with Jessie's ex-husband! Boy, do we see a side of humanity we didn't need to.😠 He's absolutely vile! Austin, let's Jessie find her feet, then back's her all the way, while also supporting her to get there before she finds her strength.♥️
Niamh brings something terrifying, even to Sue and Aurora, into a pub. It's hilarious.😂 I really would love a romance between those two. They seem so compatible!😍 Also, is Niamh starting to hone in on Tristans' origins?🤔
My biggest misgiving with this book was that it almost felt like too much was happening. I wouldn't have minded another novella to split the different sections into more cohesive chunks. But having said that, it's still full of all of the usual crazy, love, banter, caring, and found family love!⭐️🥰

Outstanding
It’s so refreshing to read about a heroine who isn’t young and impetuous and actually has some life experience, add to that the gripping storytelling, the hilarious characters and the superb narration, this whole series is brilliant. Can’t wait for the next one!

With Sedation and Nessa off on there own, breaking into Mage homes and touching their secrets out of them and stealing their possessions. Jess and her team are going back to her roots to settle a few with her ex and his family. Here lots of misunderstandings and mayhem pursue. Read brilliantly once again by Nicole Poole

I so love the Ivy House crew
Another great instalment on the magical midlife series. Not as funny as previous stories Perhaps & Sebastian & Nessa’s secret goings on is starting to worry me! But overall there were some LOL moments .. Edgar continues to be the light & humour!

Brilliant
This series is so brilliantly written which is strengthened by the amazing talents of Nicola Poole. Nicola is one of the most entertaining voice actors I have heard in a long time. Her interpretation of the characters she is portraying brings the story to life, making me laugh out loud with her comic timing of the eccentric characters she brings to life. This chapter of the series exploring Jess’s history with her ex was a sobering topic which was balance by the humour and support of the characters reaction to dealing with this reality. Well done! I can’t wait for the next book!

Fabulous
This is one of my favourite reads and always look forward to the next book.
The characters are just great. These books have made me laugh many times and each book just gets better.
If you want a little hearted fun read these are the books first you.

The best in the series
This is my favourite book so far. Excellent writing and narration as always.
I loved the storyline, highlighting narcissism and control. It reminded me of my own past in ways.
Hurry up and write that next book.
