Summary
A beautiful collection of easily-relatable and heart-warming poems exploring the true meaning of love and life, and the relationship between the two. Get ready for a remarkable voyage.
Have you ever wondered what life would be like without love? Life is a priceless gift deliberately crafted and packaged for our enjoyment, but it is not a bed of roses. It is a mixture of the good, bad and ugly-including pains and gains, sadness and joy, despair and hope, failures and successes- and it ends in death. Death reminds us we must make the most of this gift before it expires. How can we do this? Love and life are inseparable, dependent and complementary; love powers life while life makes love visible. This beautiful relationship is broken when both are misused or abused, usually due to a flawed understanding of what each truly is. What is love and what is life?
Love And Life: Poems About You And Me is a beautiful collection of easily-relatable and heart-warming poems arranged into two thematic parts exploring love and life. The poems speak personally to you and take you on a voyage that could leave you questioning some of the things you thought you knew about love and life. In the end you would realise: "After all have been said and done, after life has been lived and spent and, when we finally bid the world goodbye, only one thing will matter...the love we shared." Ziri Dafranchi who has written some award-winning poetry, reveals why he is admired in local poetry communities as he deploys literary techniques in combination with his unique style in this well curated collection which is suitable for all listeners.

Deeply insightful and thoroughly enjoyable!
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The poems are exceptional, , deeply insightful yet very entertaining and enjoyable. The poems reveal commendable literary skills on the part of the author Ziri Dafranchi and the narration was so on point too, it brought the words to life. It's added to my favourite collection.

A reflective and creative written piece
Love and life by Ziri Dafranchi I have found to be a very reflective piece of writing identifying with the true meaning of love from a relational perspective and also a spiritual perspective. Just by listening to a few poems and the creative use of wording it has reshaped my understanding of genuine love towards my spouse in marriage and towards those around me. I would strongly recommend to anyone interested in creative writing.

In love with ‘Love Untrue’ poem
I loved this book right from the beginning. From poem 20 onwards the book is packed with stoic, wise and thought provoking concepts. The reflection and contemplation and introspection came as a surprise with this book. Each verse serves an opportunity for intense contemplation. Poem 24, was one of my favourite poems with the analysis of the heart, comparing and contrasting to red and life. The symbolisms and intellectual artistic flare invites one to explore the complexities of love and human experience. 'Love and Life’ is a remarkable book I encourage all to read.

Potential
A celebratory and enquiring collection of poetry by Ziri Dafranchi, which is at its most successful when it captures shared human emotion and finds universal truth. However, at times, it finds this through cliche and plain speaking as opposed to metaphor and imagination. This is particularly evident over the course of a book of many poems, where the tone remains staid. The production is excellence and there is a clear narrative line, particularly in the first part of the collection, charting the ups and downs of love. The collection is at his most successful when the poet connects on a more revealing, confessional level, delving into his darker truths, for example, the poem “Not a Victim” which is successful because it is authentic and evokes universal truth. Overall, this is a collection which could be best described as a work in progress; Dafranchi is a poet maturing, and who shows great promise.
