I'm sure your first question is: Can you actually learn a foreign language while you’re asleep? Well, according to a Swiss research study in 2014, the answer is unassailably, yes! In this study, a group of German speakers was given a list of unfamiliar Dutch words to study. Half were instructed to get some sleep, while they listened to long lists of Dutch words and translations. The other half was instructed to stay awake. Four hours later, they were tested and the group that listened while they slept had significantly higher recall. The study concluded that people can indeed absorb new information passively during non-REM sleep - which is the deep sleep we get in the first few hours of the night.
This audiobook is divided into six chapters, each with different kinds of vocabulary, and with different music. Choose a different chapter each night, or loop the audiobook to have a continuous stream. Some listeners - those with more experience with the foreign language - have reported that these recordings allow them to dream in that language!

The easy way to learn a language
Really easy to understand and learn. Glenda Greco teaches French in a way that you just pick it up as you go through the course. Amazing audiobook!

A great background listening experience!
I listened to this audiobook as I cooked, cleaned, and drove to work! It's a perfect little tool to have playing in the background whilst concentrating on something else and it covers a wide breadth of French vocabulary. It's also great to listen to with kids around because a lot of the words can be picked up easily. You really do learn French without realising it. Perfect for any beginner wanting to stretch their French vocabulary and have a better understanding of different words in specific contexts!

who knew sleep could be so productive!
The music makes this whole book incredibly relaxing to fall asleep to and I'm sure this will help out when I next visit France

Amazing!
I use this to just keep up with my French practice during the day. It's made a huge difference and I feel productive even while I'm sleeping! Such a clever idea for those trying to learn a second language. Highly recommend.

Super satisfied - highly recommend!
I paid for my Rosetta Stone app for two years at $74 a year. I learned some, but I felt like I didn't get my money's or time's worth. I turned to this audiobook as a supplement after a friend recommended it to me, and it definitely didn't disappoint!
I felt like I wasted my money with the Rosetta Stone as this book had all the content at a fraction of the price. It was super effective for me to have in the background. I actually played it a couple of times over as I felt it emphasized my vocabulary building that way and I repeated through as I went along the second time.
Superb value and highly effective. If you're interested in learning French, this is your resource!

Fabulous French!
Learning another language has always been a challenge for me, however, listening intently whilst dozing off to sleep is pretty much a good way to learn. The narration here is first class and you have this very hypnotic background music to soothe you asleep while the narrator gives you the French, the English, and the French again for the specific word. Overall a very good experience and I'm really looking forward to learning this wonderful language.

Loved it and worked so fast!
I did French as school and thought I had forgotten most of it until I started to listen to this book and I could not believe how much of it came back to me as I listened each night. It’s a great way to re-learn (and to learn) a language and this has really worked for me. I can’t believe how much I can now say after only a week! I am going to keep re-playing at least every month so I don’t forget again. Great book and so easy to listen to and learn!

Learning French with ease
Learning French couldn't be any more fun than doing it on the go. I was able to listen while I was getting on with my everyday life. It was helpful with meditation and eased me into a good night sleep. " Learn French in your sleep" is highly recommended for anyone with a very busy life style but wanting to acquire the knowledge of a new language.
