Thought provoking
This heart wrenching tale of a little boy caught up in his Father’s sorrow and delusion and his journey back to living is so wonderfully crafted. It’s left me thinking about life and about how we live. An unputdownable read/listen. I cried and I felt heartened. I will definitely look for more by the author.
The reader’s performance was great. She had a good flow and out a nice amount of emphasis where needed and some good voice modulation for the characters. Her diction was also great so I didn’t find myself frustrated with mispronunciations.
All in all a fantastic piece I would recommend.

wonderful book couldn't put it down
made me cry, made me feel proud, made me stay up late to keep listening. I usually read apocalypse and action but tried this for a change. could not put it down!!! LOVED LOVED LoVED this book and seriously I'm not usually easily pleased! check my other reviews! I'm hard to please but this book was just wow from start to end.

Worth a hundred star rating
What a fantastic listen!! Brilliant all round. First book by this fantastic author. Already downloaded another 2 by her just now. This story kept me gripped from chapter 1 and I’m glad it ended how it did. Was rooting for the boy all the way through. Must listen and add to your collection of top 5 titles.
