Summary
As a prominent divorce attorney and Manhattan’s most eligible bachelor, I’m as sought after in the courtroom as I am in the bedroom. I’ve learned that emotions have no place in either scenario. Not ever.
Thus far, my approach to life has served me well.
No hassles or strings means no heartache.
There’s just one little problem....
My new roommate happens to be the only woman who could change my views. Her laughter is a siren calling to me. Jealousy fills my chest when other guys give her attention, and disappointment sinks in when her smile isn’t directed at me.
None of that matters, though, because we’re just friends.
But if we’re only friends, why am I suddenly feeling the urge to tell her what I never did when we first met?
Head over Feels is an emotion-filled friends-to-lovers, contemporary romance.

An Easy Friends-to-Lovers Listen
Head Over Feels was an excellent choice to listen to over the weekend. The storyline wasn't hard to follow along with as I went about things around the house. The narrators had enjoyable sounding voices and added the extra emotional emphasis needed to let the reader feel what the characters were feeling.
They read the book in chapters, so at times they are each having to read the parts of the other character. I don't necessarily prefer this way of listening but the narrators did well to use the same voice for the other character throughout the book. I have listened to other books where the female always says her own lines, and I didn't even realize I preferred that until now.
I often listen and read together and find I get a lot more enjoyment out of the stories. That was also the case with Head Over Feels. I enjoyed all the friends in the book and I look forward to hearing all about Marlow and Jackson.
