Excellent overview of the troubles
I like others probably delved into this book to get more info about stake knife. I probably walked away with little I previously knew. However what I did get was a better understanding of the complex history of, the evolution and some of the in-depth details of the whole situation and its participants. I thought it was excellently written with an unbiased view. I’ll be looking out for the authors other books. Well worth a read or listen.

Very informative
I’ve not read a lot about the troubles so found this book really interesting. Reads like a thriller at times, makes me want to read more on this subject.

A well-assembled examination of familiar and unfamiliar material.
The reading was good apart from the cartoonish accents. Please just read the book... there is no need to perform it. It's a massive barrier to enjoyment.

Fantastic insight

Nothing new
I had high hopes for this when I pre-ordered it. There is absolutely nothing new in this book that isn't already in the public domain. Extremely disappointed.
