Helpful!

In my current role a lot of my work involves analysing data. I wanted to gain a better understanding so that I could improve how I handle and process data day to day. I found this audio book incredibly useful and I now have better knowledge of cleaning data and how to visualise it. Would highly recommend to anyone who currently works with data and wants to improve their understanding of how to use it effectively.

Data driven decisions!

Whether you think about it or not, data is in our lives every day. This books walks you through really starting to collect and evaluate data. I love data but something I never thought about was cleaning your data. Making sure you have clean data so that your analysis is accurate. The author does a great job of making sure anyone can understand how to use data to their advantage and how to go from collecting data to then making data driven decisions instead of emotional decisions.

Data has become so powerful to me as my business sits on data to help make progression. The book provides a guide on data analytics to guide a beginner to make important decisions. The book removes unknown and breaks them into steps to help understand data management and cleaning data was most helpful. The book is insighful and provides a compact guide to help connect with data and see how they all work and serve well. The audiobook is simple. It is clear and easy to follow.

Understandable and digestible

Really good introduction into data analysis for someone considering a career or needing to understand the terminology of this specialism.
Useful course recommendations and welcome bonus chapter on statistics a subject I needed to revisit and be reminded of

Simplicity

This audiobook made what ordinarily is difficult, a lot simple. I'm not the most technical or savvy person in data literacy, but listening to this audiobook makes me feel like a pro. It explained in simple terms, all about data science, and data analytics. It also went on to elaborate on the skillsets you need to acquire to attract the best jobs. Highly recommended.

Data overload in a good way!

A very informational listen. Chapters are varied and bite-sized which is good. There's a lot of good information in here on topics such as data storage, collection, analysis, machine learning algos and more. My only real quibble is that it keeps referring to figures or the 'things I mentioned above' as though we have the physical book. In other words, the script hasn't been formatted for an audiobook. If an accompanying pdf was provided with the audiobook would solve the issue. I haven't removed a star for this as this is a quick fix.

Data Made Easy (Kinda)

Data analytics aren't easy, but this book explained it in a way that helps to understand it and learn about it in a much easier way.
It's definitely convinced me to start looking into jobs to do with this a bit more seriously. You could make some serious bank if you got good at it and got the right job!

Complex topic explained very well

I was a bit apprehensive about getting into this at first but is a topic I have always wanted to learn. This was my step at attempting to learn data analytics and I must say that the way it was done has made me so much more comfortable with the topic. The key concepts which I had no clue about coming into this I now feel as though I have a solid basic understanding. More reading and research is needed but it's definitely set me on the right track.
