Terrible Narration

Really difficult to follow the story because the narration is so bad. Clearly never heard of editing! I’ve enjoyed the authors other books, but I would give this a miss. I preserved because it’s the first in the series and I’m hoping there is a different narrator on the next one!

narrator

what a diabolical production of a great book Audible, why haven't you got this book reread. I persisted because I plan to hear the full series. Unfair to be charged for such an appalling production.

poor editing

the story would have been a lot better had the editor done their job correctly. i lost count of the amount of sentences repeated with the narrator apologising for making a mistake before rereading it. this detracted feom the overall enjoyment.

Edit out all the repeats

Most of the book needs editing. The narrator would say something stop and say it again m. Very annoying.

Disappointing narration

Narration/ phrasing not good. No editing out of mistakes/ retakes. Enjoyed the storyline though.

Dreadful editing, good storyline

Enjoyable story if it weren’t for the awful editing. I think it could have been rated higher by listeners if it wasn’t for the repetitive lines here and there

Disappointing listen.

I struggled to listen to this a good story. I felt sorry for the narrator he struggled to keep his place keep repeating words just read said sorry a couple of times stopping the flow of the story. Shorl surly this could have been edited out before publication. Very disappointing.

Narration

the narrator is so poor I just about returned this and might yet.
It is an uninteresting and soporific performance, with points of repetition of lines that had me wondering, then it happened more frequently with one point in the story where he stumbled over his lines, apologising he repeated it.
How did this make it past the post production checks?
Amateurish and poorly presented, ruining the experience.

The narration was terrible,

The hesitations and mistakes of the narrator were further magnified by the regular repetition of whole phrases. It happened so often I could not decide whether it was a technical fault or the narrator felt the need to irritate the listener with this habit.
