6 Stars If I Could

An amazing story of two friends in an adventure so compelling that you would think it was based off of a true story.

And as good as the story is, there's even better narration. They got Edoardo Ballerini to narrate it. If you don't know who Mr Ballerini is, he's the guy who Dean Koontz chose to narrate his books.

6 Stars Guys, well done

A great adventure

Given what is going on in the world, it was really interesting to learn more about the Middle East and the inclusion of both an Arab and Jewish character provides a nice balance to the story. At the heart of the story is an adventure with two friends following a series of clues left by the famous Lawrence of Arabia. Very engaging, good narration and very enjoyable!

Excellent performance and storytelling

This audiobook is a story that follows two friends, Magnus and Finn, who go on an adventure to find clues left by Lawrence of Arabia. They travel from Europe to Arabia, learning a lot about the Middle East along the way. I enjoyed how the book mixes real history with a thrilling story. The two younger characters, one Jewish and one Arab, add a lot to the story and give different viewpoints that make it even more interesting. This helps bring the culture and history of the Middle East to life. The book isn’t just about the adventure; it’s also about understanding the Middle East better. The authors show that we have more in common than we think, even in a place often seen as full of conflict.

I also enjoyed the narration, it is delivered with enthusiasm, clarity, and great pronunciation!

Overall a great listen for anyone who loves history and adventure. It's an exciting journey that teaches you a lot and stays with you after you finish.

Excellent

A highly enjoyable story that mixes fiction with fact. Centred around the life and exploits of T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) a group of friends travel in his footsteps and with the aid of a mysterious knife, they are able to witness first hand how the history of the middle East unfolded.
As someone who has read about Lawrence, I recognised a great deal of the historical parts. The friends are from the three Abrahamic religions - Jewish, Christian and Muslim - yet despite this they share common ground. The information throughout is informative, however, what stands out above anything else is that despite our religious beliefs, we have much more that unites us than divides us. Even though I'm an Atheist, I still understood the overriding message in this book. Well narrated and easy to listen to, I would recommend it to anyone interested in the history of the Middle East, Lawrence or how the three great religions of the world, despite originating from the same source have managed to inflict horrendous atrocities around the world for centuries.
