Summary

There’s a wedding in the air at Auckland Med, but Reuben wonders if they’ll survive the stress long enough to say, "I do". Cam is directing the entire operation with his combat eyeliner in place, while the wedding party is doing its best to ignore him. The pressure is mounting and the cracks are beginning to show.

There’s a bachelor party to survive.

The paparazzi to outrun.

A wedding outfit to confirm.

A rugby game to win.

A jerk of a father to cope with.

A stunning opportunity to consider.

A relationship to untangle.

And a shocking event that could derail everything.

With the universe conspiring against them, Reuben and Cam will have to summon every scrap of belief they have in each other to make it to their vows.

Nothing is ever easy with these two

I was so excited for Cam and Rueben's wedding story. I should have known it wouldn't be that easy! 🤣 But even with all the trouble, surprised and generel lack of communication this was such a wonderful wedding story, hilarious, snarky, romantic, tearinducing and sexy all the way through ❤️

Fantastic ending

Gary Furlong as in the whole series did an amazing job in stayaing true the characters. Cam is just wonderfully Cam and Reuben and all the others are equally well done.

Jay Hogan gave the series a wonderlful ending with Cam and Reuben their wedding and ofcourse eveeything else that is happing. Sorry to listen to the final book and definetely one of my go to series for a reread or relisten.

If you love a series with queer characters, rugby players, family and found family this is your series.

Brilliant

Narrator throughout the entire series was amazing. I often struggle with narrative voice but Gary is brilliant! With an amazing story in tow, I couldn’t stop listening. I absolutely loved the entire Auckland med series and wasn’t at all disappointed with the narrative! Amazing job! Thank you 💕

Cam and Reubens Wedding Spectacular.

Loved this book, the narration, done by Gary Furlong is wonderful. His capturing of all the characters is spot on, but his rendition of Cam is first class, he just gets all the feels! This is such an emotional read, it gave me soooo many feels 🤯 Cam is his, wonderful self, but for me the star of the show is Reuben. Excellent character development by Jay, his growth throughout the book is outstanding.
Absolutely loved it 🥰

Cam and Rube...together with everyone else 😃

***Audio Review***

Another good audio from Mr Furlong. He does really well with these Kiwi reads, his expressive storytelling so much better than when he uses his monotonous voice for other series. Rube's dad is suitably slimy 🤬, Sandy is soft and always useful, and Michael really steps up to the plate and helps his friends in their hour of need.

***Book Review***

Well, I'm giving it 5 stars assuming it's the finale of the series...but wait, what?? There may be a couple of other stories down the line featuring 🤔🤔??? Yes, and a few surprises in this story too.

Absolutely LOVED it 💕💕, Cam and Rube are my favourite couple from this series, Reuben's character has grown in leaps and bounds...even throughout this story, along with a few other characters --> yes, Michael Oliver, you!! Everyone else from the Auckland Med series also seemed to make an appearance, including unfortunately a certain git of a 'father' 🤬🤬...but the less said about him, the better [and he gets his well-deserved comeuppance anyway 👊👊]!! Needless to say, the wedding of the century [as far as Auckland is concerned anyhoo 😄] doesn't go ahead without a few hitches, and let's be really honest here, it wouldn't have been Cam and Rube's wedding without a little niggle or two, would it 😉? The bachelor party at the nightclub had me laughing out loud 😆😆, and I would've LOVED to have been in the audience for the 'Leave your Hat on' scene, featuring certain members of Auckland's finest and anyone else they could rope in.

Funny serious frightening

All of the above in one story. It certainly has very funny moments and very sexy moments then shows the risk playing rugby can have. It's a great listen.
