Summary
A lush, tropical island on an icy planet makes no sense.
Then again, not much makes sense anymore after waking up and finding myself not in bed but on a strange world populated by aliens. Since that moment, I've learned that nothing is normal anymore and I've got to roll with the punches. I can handle this, though. I'm strong and capable.
So...washed up on a tropical island? Got it handled.
Separated from the others in my group? Handled.
Stranded alone with a brutal but delicious alien man that can't speak English but has great...ahem...body language? Yup, handled.
Add in the fact that my cootie - a symbiont I need to survive - has chosen my big, hulking alien friend as my fated mate? Let's just say that the situation isn't the only thing that's going to be handled.
But it isn't long before I learn that the tropical island paradise is a death trap and we're all in grave danger, aliens, and humans alike. To survive this, I'll need my tempting guy to give me a hand with the situation...good thing he's got four of them.

Ice Planet
This is a great spinoff to her other series, however you do not need to start with that series to understand this one. It completely stands on its own, very well written and the duel narrative is excellent.

Pure escapism
The story is out of its world and you enter a new realm. The characters are well defined and believeable. The narration is great and you feel like you are in the storyline.

Thoroughly enjoyable. There is an actual story as well as sex! Yay. Very well written, excellent dual narration.

more than a spin off series
After listening to and thoroughly enjoying the ice planet barbarians series, it was a no brainer that this series would be high on my list of my next listen. while this series ice home is interconnected with the ice planet series, this is definitely not a spin off. It has all its own merits and the narration is every bit as good as the other books. I highly recommend any of Ruby's books, they all great.

brilliant story
what can I say this book had me giggling loads. there's good world building and characters.
the narrator is clear and conveys the right emotions when needed. It's the kind of story that warms your heart, makes you laugh and at times makes Ur heart hurt.
would definitely recommend. I'm off to listen to the next one

Brilliant.
Was a little bit prejudice about the whole four armed alien thing, and had decided not to buy this book. but, I changed my mind and I'm so glad. I really enjoyed it. I loved the baby. I loved how the clans came together. And I loved the suspense of being on an island that could errupt at any moment.
Btw. I saw a review that mentioned Murdock's old crew being taken away and killed, but nothing like that happened in this book, so that confused me.
The narration was great. Overall, this is my favourite so far even though it is only a spin off from ice planet barbarians.

Amazing
All series is really amazing. I loved all Ice Planet series and this new series is also fantastic. Fantastic narration. I defiantly recommend.
