Liam Montgomery will try everything once. He started his career as a model and turned that opportunity into becoming a bestselling author. The only thing he hasn’t tried is a steady relationship.

Not that he’s looking for one.

Arden Brady doesn’t get out much.

Living with Lupus means sometimes her days aren’t her own. She’s lived her life to the fullest so far, but the one thing she’s never let herself do is fall in love.

Then comes Liam.

A chance encounter changes the game, and both will have to risk everything they thought important to make this work. Because family secrets and unplanned heartache aren’t the only things trying to tear them apart. But if they’re lucky, the passion between them might just make this romance thing something they can believe in.

**Wrapped in Ink is a friends to lovers, who hurt you, opposites attract romance in the Montgomery Ink: Boulder series featuring Liam and Arden. Each book can be listened to as a complete standalone. An HEA is guaranteed!**

I’ve listened to so many of Carrie Ann Ryan’s books and each time I know I’m in for a treat and this one is no different. I especially enjoy that although the stories are entwined they are also individual and you can listen to them as stand-alones. They also deal with some very real world issues in a sensitive and well handled.

I couldn’t recommend this series any more if I tried

I loved this book, it is well written with great characters and storylines. It is a spin-off of another Montgomery Ink series but you need not have read that one to enjoy this series, it focuses on another awesome Montgomery family. This is Liam Montgomery and Arden Brady’s story. The two first meet when neither is at their best but they clicked and Liam was happy to run into her again. They wind up having a lot in common, including an overbearing, over protective family. There is so much to love about this book, there are some heartfelt storylines, her health issues and his issues dealing with a surprising reveal that has him rethinking his whole life. I loved these two together and for each other, loved her dog Jasper too. I also loved how everything plays out for Liam and Arden’s story, it is well plotted and there is never a dull moment, with plenty of drama and heartfelt moments, a bit of angst and heartbreak to see what Arden has to go thru, she is a champion with great spirit and outlook. My heart also went out to Liam and his struggles. Thank you Carrie Ann Ryan for this wonderful romance and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

Joe Arden is a fantastic narrator and voice artist. He does an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life giving each their own voice and personality. You could hear how much heart he puts into his work as he captures the characters emotions and the drama of the story which is reflected in his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧

I loved that Arden is a fellow lupus warrior and that Carrie Ann has really captured what it is like to live with this invisible illness that likes to jump out at random times with new symptoms just because.

I loved that Liam and Arden’s brothers share the frustration of not being able to “fix” her and learning to accept that.

I wish I could visit Montgomery Ink to get a tattoo because I’d feel confident that I wouldn’t have to worry about getting a new health issue.
