"Wheaton loads his narrative with shocking moments…the pace continuously escalates, and each of Cecily’s discoveries about her family’s past makes her more determined to understand the curse and to figure out how to survive it...an involving and fast-moving family-ghost thriller.” (Kirkus Reviews)
