The grand finale to the prize-winning adventure series that has changed the lives of millions of readers. Breathtaking world-building on an epic scale. Pure escapism at its best.
It is early spring, a turbulent, perilous time of sudden storms, frozen river fractures and drifting ice. Fleeing from a demon intent on devouring his souls, Wolf is swept out to Sea far from the Forest and his pack. The ocean too teems with danger: sea wolves, sharks and hunters of the deep, and the demon is gaining ground. Torak and Renn must race to save their pack-brother, battling the harsh, icy waves and merciless torrents. If they can't find Wolf in time, the bond between them will be severed for ever...

Run wild with Wolf Brother for the last time in a Stone Age world we all want to be part of, with three-million-copy-selling author Michelle Paver, Creator of Legends.

This is a worthy final story in the Wolf brother series - warm, exciting and completely satisfying. Ian McKellen’s reading is as perfect as ever. I’m very sad that the series has ended …

Fabulous story

I’ve been reading and re-reading, and listening and re-listening to these books since I was 10 years old. I’m now 23 and it’s all finally over. My favourite book series of all time and my go-to recommendation. My escape. Thank you Michelle and Ian for such a wonderful 13 years, it’s been an absolute joy. I’ll now continue my crying over the end of an era.

Feels like saying goodbye to a loved-one. A beautiful sadness.

Wonderful story and perfect performance! I enjoyed every second of this final book in the series. The author's notes that follow the story and the addition of a conversation between author and narrator hint at the depth of research behind the world of Torak and Wolf. Be sure to read all the books in this series!

Wonderful!

I dont think I'll ever tire of these books. Paver's characters are just so wonderful and the stories so gripping. She has clearly done a lot of research into these times and the details make it come to life and make you want to be there to see it for yourself. What can you say about Ian McKellen's narration. His voice is wonderful at any time but reading these books has been a delight to listen to, especially how he reads Wolf. There is a treat at the end with an interview with Paver and McKellen.

Just so good
