A man who commands dragons rises. The people call him a prophet, a savior...the one who will free them from the tyranny of the wizard class.
They do not comprehend the threat he presents.
The dragon priest rages across the land. Cities and rulers are helpless against his might.
A pair of heroes embark on a dangerous quest, seeking a lost object of power. Without it, the dragon priest and his army will destroy the world.
An army of metal golems invades another wizardom. These magic-powered automatons are the weapon of the last wizard lord - a madman who desires to rule the world. Despite his might, betrayal might be his most useful tool.
Shadow of a Dragon Priest continues the Fall of Wizardoms Saga, an epic fantasy adventure rife with action, intrigue, and witty banter.
Narrated in grand fashion by the vaunted talent, Travis Baldree.

Simple answer: Yes. Yes, it is. But I feel Kohanek might be selling himself short because it's so much more!
I absolutely loved this instalment of Fall of Wizardoms (which isn't really a surprise, but still!). The book centres on the power couple that is Narine and Jace, two of my absolute favourites. Hilarity abounds, as does their nack for ending up in dangerous situations, and in the middle of prophecies spelling doom for the world. The suspense, intensity, and fast-paced action within these pages pull you along on a wild ride through the Wizardoms!
But there is also beauty and depth to this story, not in the least through the eyes of a grieving mother and wife and the struggle she faces as she attempts to move on. There are some powerful scenes where, as a reader, I held my breath. Beautifully done, and so heartfelt a story!
Featuring sweeping, high-stakes battles, a fantastic cast of characters, and somehow even more world-building added to the mix, Shadow of a Dragon Priest is entertaining from cover to cover! This series just does not let up!
Note: Travis Baldree does another fabulous performance with this book. The scene with a drunken Jace telling stories from his past is hilarious on its own, but listening to Travis sounding out Jace's drunkenness had me in stitches twice over!
Entertaining from cover to cover!
