As the Uncrowned King tournament reaches its final rounds, tensions between the competing factions are higher than ever. The outcome may determine the power balance throughout the rest of the world.

Each Monarch schemes to seize any advantage they can...while far away, a Dreadgod stirs.

When the tournament ends, the Dreadgod will rise. Whether it will be driven back into the sea or allowed to rampage depends on the Monarchs.

And on which of them is left standing.

This book is significantly longer than its predecessors and that is a great thing! Nothing feels rushed and more characters get "screen time". It also doesn't feel too long, there is something happening all the time and there is not one boring or even "meh" moment in it.

I especially loved all the little things that Will managed to sneak in. It is great to see an author that hears his audience and is not afraid to cater to their likes.

The narration is amazing as usual. Travis does an amazing job once again at bringing these characters to life.

The book is one of the strongest (if not THE strongest) entries in the series and is definitely a great setup for the next one. I am very excited to see where do our old and new friends end up going.

A brilliant new entry to the series

This book is currently the best entry is the series, IMO.

The characters had more time to breath than normal but the pacing of the story stayed on track. Alot happens in this book, more than what I thought was going to happen going into this story. So many questions have been answers but the stakes remain until the end. Listen to it, you won't regret it.

The best in the series by far
