Excellent narration and Milena McKay’s writing is always sublime. This one took a little longer to get into but it’s a nice story, just a slower pace.

Oooo this is good. Wonderful storytelling and Natalie Naudus narration is top class. witches, Lesbians, a cat and a possum, what is not to love? x

I felt this could have been a good two hour story. So much introspection I kept losing track of the threads of the story, so by the end I had very little grasp on the supporting characters or plot.

The thought of anybody walking around a sleepy tourist trap town in designer high heel shoes I find laughable. That's just one of the things that bugged me, and about the only one I remember.

This story was difficult to follow. I have ADHD so maybe that was a factor in not being able to follow. I also have yet to read the Magdellan Knox series and this book gives cameos to many of those characters. There were a lot of characters and I struggled to become invested in the two protagonists. I may try to re read it once I’ve read the other series and see if it hits differently.
