I love listening to the continuing story of Bond and John Gardner writes so well. Well done to Simon Vance for his pace and precision with the story.

Steady pace for bond novel but easy to finish. Decent enough spy book but nothing special.

This James Bond book sees bond promoted and back in the Royal Navy to defeat a terrorist plot to the stewards meeting. It’s entertaining and well narrated.

James Bond is back in Royal Navy

A totally ludicrous story. Ridiculously bad. This is a slap in the face for Fleming’s legacy. Similar n’s narration is excellent as always but the story is just incredibly poor

Absolutely garbage

Definitely a James Bond story , but whole thing seemed a bit rushed.
Could have been better put together

I’m a big fan of the John Gardner/Simon Vance combination, but don’t think this was their best book.

Still a good listen for James Bond fans
